Capabilities - Finishing

We use shot blasting machines for removing burrs and scale and for finishing components requiring a 'bead glass' finish.

Butfering flatbed and open face linishing machines are used to brush stainless steel and aluminium and great care is taken to obtain a uniform grain and direction.

Our Rosla vibratory bowl polisher is seldom out of action and gives small components a high quality look and feel. This is particularly effective on stainless steel handles and hinges where a polished look adds a 'little extra' much appreciated by customers.

Specialist operations such as polishing chromium plated parts is carried on pedestal polishing machines with wheels and pastes suited to the task in hand.

With finishing operations, machines are important but so is the care taken by operatives and we instill that finish greatly affects perceived quality.

Painting/Plating/Screen printing/Label making

These activities are sub-contracted to approved suppliers with whom we retain close relations. Each has their own special skills and equipment allowing us to concentrate on our core expertise in sheetmetal design and manufacture.
